Diane Bristol is the Senior Director of Employee & Community Engagement at Simms Fishing Products. Famous for their fishing waders – made in Bozeman, MT – SIMMS offers the best fishing gear to keep you comfortable and confident out on the water, and après fishing. Diane has been with SIMMS for over twenty-five years, and previously worked with the former parent company, Life-Link International. In October 2013, Diane accepted this newly created role at SIMMS to help the organization achieve even greater success by implementing broader employee development plans and helping SIMMS employees grow personally and professionally. In addition, Diane enjoys elevating SIMMS at all levels of the community and finds opportunities to promote employee involvement within the community. Prior to her current role, Diane was the Sr. Director of Marketing & Brand Management, responsible for the SIMMS brand management and all marketing functions. Diane is currently a member of the Executive Committee for Warriors & Quiet Waters Foundation (WQW) and serves on the Board of Directors for the Recreational Boating & Fishing Foundation. She has also served on the board for the American Fly Fishing Trade Association and the International Women Fly Fishers. Along with her board roles, Diane is a volunteer for the WQW FX program and Casting for Recovery retreats. Diane, along with SIMMS, was recently recognized by Greater Yellowstone Coalition for her/their role in helping to protect the Yellowstone Ecosystem with the successful passage of the Yellowstone Gateway Protection Act. Diane, her husband and son are all avid fly anglers, and also enjoy camping, skiing and many of the other outdoor activities Montana provides.
